Queensland Variety Bash
The 2010 XXXX Gold Queensland Variety Bash is soon approaching and again the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service (QFRS) will be participating in an old decommissioned fire appliance with operational capabilities, which was donated to Queensland Variety by the QFRS back in 2007. This year is the 5th year that the QFRS has been associated with this event. In the past five years the fire appliance has been manned by operational Fire fighters, ranging from permanent, auxiliary, rural and support personnel. Last year there was a Queensland Ambulance Paramedic on board.
