EARLIER: Multiple Fire and Rescue Service crews are currently on scene at a rubbish fire on Joe Joseph Drive, West Gladstone. The fire broke out around 2pm and firefighters are working to bring it under control. The fire is creating a large amount of smoke that is moving in a south-westerly direction towards Callemondah and may impact the surrounding area. People in the area should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
