We are involved in building fire safety in the following ways:
- providing Referral Agency Advice under the Planning Act 2016 on building work assessable against the Building Act 1975
- ensuring building owners and occupiers are aware of their obligations regarding the fire safety of their building and its occupants
- monitoring the compliance of budget accommodation buildings with relevant legislation
- working with industry and the community to reduce the incidents of unwanted alarm activations.
