Queensland Fire Department (QFD) crews are currently on scene at a mulch fire on Cran St, Bundaberg East. 

Smoke is affecting the surrounding areas and will continue to do so for several hours as crews work to extinguish the fire. 

Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required. 

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
