CAIRNS NORTH – Gas leak as at 1.15pm Monday, 4 April 2022

Multiple Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) crews are currently on scene at a ruptured gas line on Sheridan Street and Grove Street, Cairns North. Crews are working to disperse the gas using water sprays. A 100m exclusion zone has been established. Nearby residents should avoid the area and motorists are asked to seek alternative routes.
