Emergency Alert for Balonne Shire Council as at 4:40pm 8 April 2022

A Watch & Act Emergency Alert has been issued by the Balonne Shire Council.

The Balonne River and tributaries affecting Dirranbandi and Hebel is expected to close Dirranbandi-Hebel Rd from 12 April 2022. The Police Lagoons on the Castlereagh Highway at Dirranbandi is also expected to close between 14 and 15 April 2022.

Residents may be isolated for a period of time and are advised to make preparations as required. Review your emergency plans and keep up-to-date with flood information.
