Emergency Alert for Beaudesert as at 7pm Sun 27 Feb

An Emergency Alert has been issued by the Scenic Rim Regional Council to people in Beaudesert advising that the Logan River at Beaudesert is expected to rise above major flood levels. Residents in low-lying areas should prepare to leave now and warn others. Evacuate to family or friends if possible. A place of refuge has opened at the Beaudesert Baptist Church. Stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) and be prepared. For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000). For further information listen to local radio or visit: https://disasterdashboard.scenicrim.qld.gov.au . If it's flooded, forget it.
