Emergency Alert for Canungra as at 6.20pm Sun 27 Feb

An Emergency Alert has been issued for Canungra residents from the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

Council advises the Canungra Creek at Canungra is flooding. Residents in low-lying areas should prepare to leave and warn neighbours. Go to family or friends, if possible, or seek higher ground. Be prepared and stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000). For further information listen to local radio or visit: https://disasterdashboard.scenicrim.qld.gov.au/. If it’s flooded, forget it.
