Emergency Alert for the Gympie Local Government Area as at 8.40am Fri 25 Feb

An Emergency Alert has been issued for residents in Goomeri, Woolooga and western townships in the Gympie Local Government Area.

Flash flooding is occurring in these areas and the Goomeri township is now closed and inaccessible. Roads and bridges are impacted and everyone in the greater Gympie Local Government Area is urged to stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology.
