Emergency Alert for Helidon and Grantham as at 5pm Fri 25 Feb 

An Emergency Alert has been issued from the Lockyer Valley Regional Council. Residents in Helidon and Grantham are advised that flash flooding is occurring and water levels are rising rapidly. Residents are asked to warn others, leave the area if it safe to do so or seek higher ground. Stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology. For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000). For further information listen to local radio or visit: https://disaster.lvrc.qld.gov.au/. If it's flooded, forget it.
