Emergency Alert for Lockyer Valley as at 10.45am Thurs 12 May

An Emergency Alert has been issued by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council.

Council advises heavy rainfall and flash flooding will continue across the region for the next couple of days. Multiple roads are currently being impacted by flooding and road closures are in place. Residents across the council area are urged to stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology.

For more information listen to local radio or visit https://disaster.lvrc.qld.gov.au/. For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple-Zero (000). If it’s flooded, forget it.
