Emergency Alert for Lockyer Valley as at 3:30am Fri 13 May

An Emergency Alert has been issued by the Lockyer Valley Regional Council for residents in the local government area. It advises that flash flooding is occurring in the Lockyer Valley and water levels are rising rapidly from early this morning, Friday 13 May 2022. Residents are being asked to warn others and move to higher ground if safe to do so, or go to a place of shelter. Stay up to date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology.

For flood assistance contact the SES on 132 500. In a life threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000). For more information listen to local radio, or visit https://disaster.lvrc.qld.gov.au/. If its flooded, forget it.
