Emergency Alert for Maryborough as at 10.30am, Sun 9 Jan

Fraser Coast Regional Council has issued an Emergency Alert for Maryborough residents. The Mary River around greater Maryborough is expected to exceed the major flood level and peak near 10.5 metres on Sunday evening. For reference, this is similar to the flood peak experienced following Tropical Cyclone Oswald Flood in 2013. Properties in the area may experience flooding based on the predicted height.
