An Emergency Alert (Emergency Warning) has been issued for Mount Molloy, Southedge, Kuranda, Biboohra and Mareeba from Mareeba Shire Council.

Heavy rainfall overnight has resulted in flash flooding and rising waters. Council advises residents to move to higher ground if safe to do so and avoid floodwaters. Conditions are changing quickly and are very dangerous. Properties in Mount Molloy, Southedge, Kuranda, Biboohra and Mareeba will experience flooding.
