Emergency Alert for Mount Tarampa, Minden and Patrick Estate (near Lockyer Creek) as at 7:15am Fri 13 May

An Emergency Alert has been issued by Somerset Regional Council for residents in the Mount Tarampa, Minden and Patrick Estate region.

Major flooding may occur along the Lockyer Creek with the Glenore Grove gauge predicted to reach 13m. If you flooded in February 2022, now is the time to activate your emergency plan. If you are concerned seek shelter with friends, family. A place of refuge has been opened at the Lowood State High School Hall on Prospect Street. Bring bedding, food, medication, and any personal items. No pets are allowed.

Anyone requiring assistance to relocate, contact the SES on 132 500. If you are in immediate danger call Triple Zero (000).
