Emergency Alert for Mungindi as at 7.15pm Tues 7 Dec

An Emergency Alert has been issued for Mungindi residents from the Balonne Shire Council.

The Barwon River is expected to peak at 7.8 metres on Thursday 9 December 2021. Council advises residents to make preparations and continue to check road conditions. The Barwon River is expected to remain at a major flood level for a prolonged period of time. You should act now, review your emergency plan and keep up to date with flood information by listening to local radio or visiting Council’s Disaster Dashboard https://emergency.balonne.qld.gov.au/.
