Emergency Alert for Oakey Creek as at 10.20am Sun 27 Feb

The Toowoomba Regional Council is advising residents of heavy rainfall and flash flooding occurring in the region resulting in rises to Oakey Creek. Residents are urged to visit http://disaster.tr.qld.gov.au/to and check if their property may be impacted on current modelling maps. At this stage, it is not expected that floodwaters will enter homes. For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. For further information please listen to local radio and remember, if it’s flooded, forget it.
