An Emergency Alert has been issued for Tamborine residents from the Scenic Rim Regional Council.

Council advises the Albert River at Tamborine has reached major flood levels. Residents in low-lying areas should prepare to leave and warn neighbours. Go to family or friends, if possible, or seek higher ground. Be prepared and stay up-to-date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000).
