An Emergency Alert (Watch and Act) has been issued for the Townsville Local Government Area by the Townsville Disaster Management Group.

Residents are urged to conserve water now. Extensive power outages are affecting water sites across Townsville due to the impacts of ex-Tropical Cyclone Kirrily. Work is underway to address the situation.
