Emergency Alert for areas of Lockyer Creek as at 8.10am Sat 26 Feb

An Emergency Alert has been issued from the Somerset Local Disaster Management Group. A flood watch for areas of Lockyer Creek within the Somerset Regional Council area is still in affect and at risk over the next several hours. Roads and bridges may be impacted and residents are urged to stay off the roads if possible. Warn your neighbours and head to higher ground now. Stay up to date with the latest information from the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM). For flood assistance, contact the SES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency, dial Triple Zero (000). For further information listen to local radio or visit: http://disaster.somerset.qld.gov.au/. If it’s flooded, forget it.
