An Emergency Alert has been issued for Brisbane residents from the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

Council advises there is flooding occurring in the area which exceeds major level. This flooding is very dangerous, there may be serious property impact and residents may become isolated. Residents who are impacted by floodwater are advised to move to higher ground or seek alternate shelter. For life-threatening emergencies dial Triple Zero (000).
