The Emergency Alert (Advice) advises customers and the community in eastern Ipswich that the precautionary alert to temporarily not use tap water HAS BEEN LIFTED by Urban Utilities. Sampling results show the water is safe and meets stringent Australian Drinking Water Guidelines. Residents are advised to run their household taps to clear any residual water and contact Urban Utilities if the taste and odour issues persist.
