Goomeri – odour affecting township as at 8pm Sun 27 Feb

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is aware of an odour currently affecting the Goomeri township following severe weather in recent days. Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) crews have conducted atmospheric testing in the town and have determined that the air quality is not harmful to residents at this time. Due to the unpleasantness of the odour, residents are advised to close their windows and doors. FRS crews will continue to monitor the situation.
