Grange – house fire as at 5:30pm, Sat 6 July

Multiple Queensland Fire and Rescue crews remain on scene at a fire which has affected several properties on Evelyn St, Grange.

More than 10 crews attended the blaze, which broke out around 2:10pm, and firefighters have now brought the fire under control. Three houses have been extensively damaged, with partial damage to a fourth.

Heavy smoke is still affecting the area and will continue to do so throughout the evening. Nearby residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by.

Grange – house fire as at 2:40pm, Sat 6 July

Multiple Queensland Fire and Rescue crews are on scene at a fire that is affecting several properties on Evelyn St, Grange.

Crews were called to the blaze around 2.10pm and firefighters are currently working to defend properties and extinguish the fire. All occupants are reported to be out of the buildings.

A large amount of smoke is affecting the area. 

Nearby residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required.
