Heritage Park (Logan) – landfill fire as at 2.30am Mon 8 May 

Multiple Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) crews are on scene at a landfill fire at a commercial premises on Recycle Way, Heritage Park.

Crews are working to bring the fire under control but it is generating thick black smoke in the area. 

Nearby residents should close their windows and doors, and those suffering from a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by.

Motorists in the area should drive with caution and to conditions.
