Killaloe – rubbish fire as at 4pm Sat 27 May

Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are currently on scene at a rubbish fire on the Captain Cook Highway and Killaloe Dump Road.

The fire is under control, but smoke may affect the surrounding area in Mossman and Bonnie Doon into the night.

Residents should close windows and doors and keep respiratory medications close by if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
