Maryborough – rubbish fire as at 6pm Mon 2 September

Multiple Queensland Fire and Rescue and Rural Fire Service Queensland crews are currently on scene at a rubbish fire on Saltwater Creek Road and Ariadne Street, Maryborough. 

Crews are working alongside Fraser Coast Regional Council to contain the fire. Smoke is affecting Saltwater Creek Road and the surrounding area.

Residents should close doors and windows and keep respiratory medications close by, if required. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
