South Bingera (near Bundaberg) – tyre fire as at 2.45am Sat 3 August

Queensland Fire Department (QFD) crews are on scene at a tyre fire on Walkers Road, South Bingera. 

Crews are currently working to bring the blaze under control. 

A large amount of smoke is impacting the surrounding area and is expected to do so over the coming hours. 

Those affected should keep their windows and doors closed and if required, keep respiratory medications close by. 

Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions.
