Surfers Paradise - structure fire as at 8.45am Mon 3 July

Multiple Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) crews are on scene at a structure fire on Hamilton Ave, Surfers Paradise.

The fire has been extinguished, crews are currently conducting atmospheric monitoring and ventilating the building.

Occupants who have not yet evacuated should remain in their unit and close the door, turn off any air conditioning units and open any windows. Residents suffering from a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by.
