Wilsonton (Toowoomba) – metal scrap yard fire as at 12:15pm Fri 4 March

Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a metal scrap yard fire on Barabool Court, Wilsonton. Crews are currently working to contain the blaze, which is creating a large amount of smoke. Nearby residents are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by.
