Wondunna (near Torquay) – Mulch fire as at 8.45pm Sun 26 May

Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) crews have been at the scene of a mulch fire on Doolong South Road, Wondunna this evening.

The fire is now under control and crews will return to the scene in the morning to dampen down any remaining hot spots. A large amount of smoke is expected to affect suburbs up to 10km away through the night. Anyone impacted by smoke should keep their windows and doors closed and keep respiratory medications close by, if required.
